THY KINGDOM COME

Between Ascension Day and Pentecost there are activities around the world, in many different Christian communities, to pray ceaselessly "Thy Kingdom Come".

Here is an encouraging read from Pete Grieg, one of the architects of Thy Kingdom Come, and founder of the 24/7 prayer movement. It was first posted on Twitter. Thanks to Wendy for supplying the link. ('The Blessing UK' which gets mentioned is in our music links below.)

The #ThyKingdomCome App is now available. It’s full of daily videos, Bible readings, podcasts & space to pray for 5 people you would like to see come to faith. Download the Android version here: https://bit.ly/362nooj or the Apple version here: https://apple.co/2LADnjP

There will be a 6pm online service from Guildford Cathedral on Pentecost. Watch by going to 'Diocese of Guildford' on YouTube This beacon event aims to bring everyone involved in Thy Kingdom Come in our area together.

MUSIC

The hymns Come Down O Love Divine and Be Still for the Presence of the Lord used in our Pentecost service are here. The soundtracks were recorded remotely by the Choral Scholars of St Martin-in-the-Fields in their homes, and edited together.

David Pepe has recorded two pieces (at home with his guitar):

The Blessing UK is a quite moving gospel piece put together by Christians from all over the country:
