SUNDAY 24TH JANUARY - EPIPHANY 3

There will be a Holy Communion service held both in church and over Zoom at 10am, live from church. The service will be led by Revd Clive Potter with Alison Turner preaching. The order of service is here.

We continue to broadcast from church over Zoom at 10am each Sunday. The link to log in and dial-in details for the 10am service will be the same next week. The invite was sent to everyone who is on the electoral roll (and permits email contact) - if you are not on that list please contact stjohnsmilford@hotmail.com for invitation details. This service is open to everyone.

AFTER CHURCH CHAT

There is a St John's group on Zoom, for a chat with a cup of tea/coffee, on Sunday 11-11.40am. Everyone who is on the electoral roll (and permits email contact) has received log in details - if you are not on that list please contact stjohnsmilford@hotmail.com for invitation details.

CHILDREN

On Christmas Eve we held a Crib Service for families on Zoom. Even if you missed the service, you can still watch our special nativity video, that was produced jointly by St John's Milford and All Saints Witley, here:

TEACHING

If you would like to study the whole bible through the year with daily readings, there is a guide that has been produced by Barbara Steele-Perkins. You are welcome to contact Barbara about this if you are using this material.

PRAYER

Hands in prayer   The Church of England publishes a Prayer for the day every day, just follow the link.

   There is also a Church of England booklet with prayers specific to the virus situtation.

 

MUSIC

The hymns and carols Alleluia sing to Jesus, Will you come and follow me, King of glory King of peace and Praise my soul the King of heaven were used in our most recent Sunday service. These are linked below. These are soundtracks recorded remotely by the Choral Scholars of St Martin-in-the-Fields in their homes, and edited together. You will find other hymns from recent services on our Vimeo channel.
